Meet Christian Shearer

Started in fire sprinklers at 18. Spent years in the field — installing systems, learning what works and what doesn't when pipe meets ceiling. Took opportunities along the way to work as a construction project manager and superintendent, which gave a wider view of how the whole building process fits together. But the preference was always clear: working as a specialist, filling a specific role in the broader system that is a home.

Came back to fire sprinklers, got licensed, and started Shearer Fire Protection. The design side came naturally — years of field experience made it straightforward, and it opened the door to accounting for things most designers miss. Head placements that make sense for the installer. Pipe routes that work with the framing, not against it. Plans that don't just pass review but actually build clean.
